Alta1 helps young people reconnect with education through a supportive environment that recognises their strengths and helps them take steps toward future pathways, further training, employment and meaningful next opportunities.

Meet Kelly
Mainstream schooling wasn’t the right fit for me, and I found it really hard to engage. Since coming to Alta1, I’ve been able to enjoy learning again and feel supported. I’m graduating with certificates in Workplace Skills, CGEA and Business, plus eight micro‑credentials. I’m way more confident now and excited about my future, with a full time pathway into horticulture.

At Alta1 College, we prioritise the wellbeing of every student. All information provided in this Expression of Interest will be handled with the utmost confidentiality. According to Section 242 of the School Education Act 1999, this information will only be used for the following purposes:
- To determine whether your Application for Enrolment can be accepted.
- To assist the College in addressing any specific needs your child may have if the enrolment is accepted.
- To comply with legal requirements or ministerial directions.
Your trust is important to us, and we are committed to safeguarding your privacy and supporting your student’s educational journey.
The below information will assist the College with understanding if any specific resources will be required to support the student with their education. Responses do not determine if a student will be accepted or not.

Middle School places at Alta1 are extremely limited and demand significantly exceeds availability. Submission of an Expression of Interest does not guarantee an enrolment opportunity, a place on a waiting list, or progression to the next stage of the enrolment process.
Every Expression of Interest is carefully assessed against our enrolment criteria to determine whether Alta1 is the right fit for the student and whether a suitable place may be currently available. Due to the high volume of enquiries we receive, only families whose circumstances align with our enrolment criteria and current availability may proceed to the next stage.
